1. Who we are
Pokechrono is an intermediary platform between private individuals for the sale of Pokémon cards through timed online auctions. [ragione sociale]. Pokechrono is not a public auction house and does not sell cards of its own: it brings sellers and buyers together and verifies items before publication.
2. The service
Every sale takes place through a sealed single-bid auction lasting 24 hours: each participant may submit one bid per item, confirmed via the link received by email, and may neither change nor withdraw it. The item is published only after receipt and verification by the Pokechrono expert. The item is awarded to the highest valid bid at the close of the auction — on a tie, the first confirmed — unless the reserve is not met.
3. Verification and guarantee
Pokechrono verification is an assessment made by our expert and does not constitute a PSA, BGS or CGC grade. Pokechrono guarantees the authenticity of the items sold and refunds the buyer where non-authenticity is established.
4. Costs
The costs applied to the seller and the buyer are stated on the "How it works" page at the time of the transaction and do not change during an auction in progress.
5. Payment and shipping
Payment is collected by Pokechrono and paid to the seller after confirmation of receipt or the end of the dispute period. Shipping departs from Pokechrono, tracked and insured.
6. Tax obligations
The seller is responsible for their own tax obligations. Pokechrono fulfils the reporting obligations laid down by the European DAC7 rules for digital platforms.
7. Governing law
The service is governed by Italian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the consumer's court, where applicable.
