The Pokechrono editorial teamPublished 21 October 2026

Three sealed 30th Celebration Collection boxes side by side on white tiles: the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections, the Lucario and Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collections and the Greninja ex and Sylveon ex Collections.

Alongside the Elite Trainer Box and the Tins, the 30th Celebration line (30° Anniversario) has three formats that get less attention but sell strongly in Italy: the Lucario and Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collections, the Greninja ex and Sylveon ex Collections and the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections. At Pokechrono we sell them as pairs, at €83.90, €102.90 and €151.90, against list prices of €39.80, €53.80 and €79.80. Here we set out what is in each box, what changes from one format to the next and which one suits whom.

Three formats, one line

The three formats belong to the same line and draw on the same packs: those of the 30th Celebration set, in which every card is holographic. What changes is the accessory that comes with the packs and the promo card on the front.

The Tech Sticker Collections and the Greninja ex and Sylveon ex Collections came out in Italy on 16 September 2026, in the line's first wave. The Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections close the line on 6 November 2026, the same day as the Ditto Premium Collection and the Umbreon-ex Ultra Premium Collection. Each format comes in two versions, one per Pokémon, and we sell them together: Italian buyers almost always look for them as a pair.

The Lucario and Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collections

This is the smallest of the three formats. Each Tech Sticker Collection contains three 30th Celebration booster packs, a holographic promo card of the Pokémon on the front and a sheet of tech stickers, plus the code card for Pokémon TCG Live. The pair, Lucario and Alolan Exeggutor, costs €83.90 at Pokechrono, against a list price of €39.80 for the two boxes.

The tech stickers are the detail younger collectors enjoy most: they go on the promo card, which is meant to be customised and played with, not kept in a slab. It is the format we recommend for a child who is just starting out, and sure enough, in the weeks after release it went straight into the Italian games sales charts.

The Greninja ex and Sylveon ex Collections

The middle format. Each Greninja ex or Sylveon ex Collection contains four booster packs, a holographic promo card of the Pokémon ex and a jumbo card of the same illustration, for display. The pair costs €102.90, against a list price of €53.80.

The jumbo card is what sets this box apart from the Tin with the same two Pokémon, sold at the same price: the Tin gives you a metal box to reuse, the Collection gives you something for the shelf. These are the most photographed products of the anniversary, and for anyone who collects product promo cards they are the two ex promos of the line.

The Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections, on pre-order

The richest format, and the only one not yet released. The Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections come out on 6 November 2026; the pair is on pre-order at Pokechrono for €151.90, against a list price of €79.80.

A figure collection in the Pokémon line normally contains a figure of the Pokémon on the front, more booster packs than the smaller collections and a holographic promo card. The exact contents of this edition are those stated on the box and listed on the product page; we would rather not itemise what we have not yet had in our hands. Mew and Mewtwo are the two Kanto legendaries Italian collectors look for most, and the set also carries them as Special Illustration Rares: the Mewtwo ex 151/128 trades ungraded between €65 and €90 according to the Pokechrono catalogue, October 2026.

Which one suits whom

The most honest way to choose is to look at what you are paying for beyond the packs. In short:

  • for a child or someone just starting out: the Tech Sticker Collections, the cheapest format, with a promo to customise;
  • for anyone who collects promo cards: the Greninja ex and Sylveon ex Collections, with the jumbo card for display, or the Tin if they prefer the metal box;
  • for anyone who wants a shelf piece or a substantial gift: the Figure Collections, on pre-order for 6 November;
  • for anyone who wants packs only: none of the three. The Booster Bundle, at €77.90, costs less per pack than any collection, and the Elite Trainer Box adds card sleeves and accessories.

The packs are the same in every format, and so are the cards inside: the Special Illustration Rares beyond the set's 128, such as the Gengar ex 154/128, between €95 and €130 ungraded and around €1,100 in PSA 10 over the last month according to PriceCharting, October 2026. The accessory does not change the odds of pulling them.

In short: stickers to play with, a jumbo card to display, a figure to give. For packs alone, the Booster Bundle.

Prices, list price and what to check

Our prices are above list, and it is worth saying why. The first-wave products sold out at Italian newsstands and in the retail chains within a few weeks, with no restock announced; we buy them on the wholesale market at the price a sold-out product commands today, and we add the seal check, rigid packaging and insured shipping. Anyone who finds a Collection at list price in a shop would do well to buy it there.

Before shipping we check the original cellophane and photograph the box: collections with packs are among the products most often reweighed and resealed, and a redone seal gives itself away in the folds and the weld. For pre-orders, shipping starts on release day, in order of booking, with a full refund if we were unable to deliver. Timings, payments and guarantees are on the how it works page.

Frequently asked questions

What does a 30th Celebration Tech Sticker Collection contain?

Three 30th Celebration booster packs, a holographic promo card of the Pokémon on the front, Lucario or Alolan Exeggutor, and a sheet of tech stickers. At Pokechrono the two collections are sold as a pair for €83.90.

When are the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections released?

On 6 November 2026, in Italy. At Pokechrono the pair is on pre-order for €151.90 and shipping starts on release day, in order of booking, after the seal check.

Which format suits someone who only wants to open packs?

None of the three: the figure, the stickers and the jumbo card all cost money. For packs alone, the Booster Bundle at €77.90 is the better buy, or the Elite Trainer Box, which adds card sleeves and accessories.
