How Pokechrono works
A platform between private individuals, with an expert in the middle. Below you'll find every step, for sellers and for buyers, with the costs set out plainly.

Consignment
Create an account, upload photos, give the set, number, language, estimated condition and starting price — or "no reserve".

Pre-valuation
We show you the reference price (Cardmarket trend, realised sales) so you can set a sensible starting price.

Shipping to the expert
You receive a prepaid label. The card travels to Pokechrono: nothing goes online before it arrives.

Verification
Authenticity, condition, grade or existing slab. Outcome: accepted (page with studio photos and signed report), accepted with reservation (condition corrected), rejected (counterfeit: card returned, costs charged to the seller).

24-hour auction
Starts at a set time and lasts exactly one day. Each buyer makes a single sealed bid: no raises, no extensions.

Winning bid and payment
The highest bidder wins. Reserve not met: a new auction or a return. We pay you after the buyer confirms receipt or when the dispute period ends.

One sealed bid per person: you state the most you're willing to pay and confirm it from the link we email you. Nobody sees anyone else's.

Tick the option before the end or at payment: a second, independent check before shipping, at a fixed price.

Accepted payment methods shown plainly. Payment is protected until delivery.

Tracked, insured shipping from Pokechrono, a dispute period, and a guarantee of authenticity that binds the platform.

Four rules that never change
24 hours, always
No auction shorter or longer. The clock is the server's, not the browser's.
No raises
Everyone makes a single bid, hidden until the close. The card goes to whoever values it most, not to whoever clicks last.
The card is already with us
It ships after verification, from Pokechrono. No seller who vanishes, no parcel that never left.
No invented grades
Our expert issues a Pokechrono assessment. A PSA, BGS or CGC grade appears only when issued by that company.
