What to know

Charizard VMAX in its shiny form, black with blue flames, illustrated by aky CG Works: SV107/SV122 from the Shining Fates Shiny Vault, released on 19 February 2021. A special set with no booster boxes, but printed in huge quantities at the height of the pandemic: with 39,146 copies in grade 10 it is the most widespread and the most affordable shiny Charizard, and the PSA 10 price is about twice the ungraded one. Printed in Italian with the same artwork; here the English printing. TCGdex has no image of this card: the picture on this page comes from photographs of the copy on sale. The black background shows every surface mark and Shiny Vault centring is uneven: two flaws to check before grading.
